Leadership is a Lifestyle And By principles, Comrade Suleiman Abubakar

Leadership is a lifestyle and by principles. Great leaders are interested in others and how to bring the best out of them and they lead all the time. More than anything else, great leaders are consistent, current, confident, humbled and loyal.

Leadership affects our every day interactions, ideologies, perspectives about life and experiences. As leaders, everything we say and do has an impact on the people, societies and the nations at large. We either bring others up or we bring them down depends on the type of leader that you're. We either add value or we don’t. Anything we do has influence on people who are looking onto us, so be wise and positive in your doings.

Many people confuse leadership with what they see highlighted on tv, societal norms especially influencer personalities. Leadership is not just a game day thing. It’s not just a sometime thing. It’s an all-the-time thing. It doesn't expires nor fade...

Being a true leader is challenging because it requires an intentional and consistent approach to all that we do outside and within. Leaders don’t pick and choose which days they feel like giving their best but always offering their best at any giving time. They embrace leadership as a lifestyle and live with.

When leaders embrace the leadership lifestyle they show up the same way in the classroom, on the court, at home, at the office, and in public and what have you. Leaders do the right thing because they hold themselves to a higher standard.

Living the leadership lifestyle requires a conscientious effort to do the following on a consistent and on a daily basis:

Gaining knowledge & wisdom

Serving others first

Building others up

Being a great team member

Having a positive attitude

Encouraging others

Doing the difficult tasks

Be Promote

Be stable

Taking notes

Be inquisitive

Be Observant

Leadership is impact. It’s about the legacy you leave behind. Great leaders simply make others better. They leave every person, place, and program better than they found it.

Leadership is not just when the cameras are on. It’s not just a sometime thing.

Leadership is a lifestyle!
