Vice President Yemi Osinbajo claims that the Nigerian Diaspora Investment Summit, or NDIS, is one of the most reliable forums for drawing foreign direct investment to Nigeria.
The vice president made the comment during the Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit 2021, which was organized by the Nigerian Diaspora Commission, NiDCOM.
On Tuesday, the ceremony was conducted in the Presidential Villa's Congress Hall in Abuja.

"Partnership and Linkages for Post-COVID Economic Growth" is the subject of the conference.
The vice president, who was represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, stated that the NDIS was created to encourage foreign direct investment into the Nigerian economy.
He commended NiDCOM Chairman Abike Dabiri-Erewa and her staff for organizing the event, which he termed as "appropriate."
"For the last three years, the NDIS has been hosted yearly, and we know that this year it has effectively encouraged Diaspora investment into local firms in the nation," he added.
Mr. Osinbajo stated that one of the priorities of the Buhari government is to increase the country's per capita income.
He also stated that the administration was committed to creating more jobs.
