As 2023 approaçhes, the need to restore the lost glory of Sankera has been the paramount concern of the citizens. Sankera, which comprises of Katsina-Ala, Ukum and Logo used to be the most peaceful region in Tiv land and housed visitors more than any other region in the state (BLCABN, 2012).
It is no longer news that this peaceful zone has now turned to a war zone. A place that used to feed the nation can no long feed itself. A place that was known as revenue hub for the state is now wallowing in poverty.
Many keep on asking whether this is a curse from God over the people of Sankera??? But the answer is No. It is not a curse from God but a continuous leadership decay. A decay system of leadership where incompetent people are being elevated to leadership positions with little or nothing inside their medulla oblongata. And when such people take over the mantle of leadership, continuity becomes their wishes but since there is nothing in their medulla oblongata to use and win the heart of the people, they decided to initiate "gun approach" to intimidate, harass and maneuver the people's franchise. This continuous gun approach escalated and metamorphosed into what Sankera is facing today.
It is from this background that the destined child Hon. Prince Solomon Wombo has come to save his people and take them back to their glorious days. It is God's time now to restore back the lost glory. God is angry with the initiators and implementers of this evil act over his people of Sankera.
Hon. Prince Solomon Wombo remains the only one that can restore Sankera lost glory.
