A corps member, Corper Igwe I. Abigail visited medium security custodial centre jalingo, Taraba State and Donates Some Items To The Inmates worth of thousands as her own personal community development services (CDS).

This took place today being 02/02/2022 at the medium security custodial centre jalingo, Taraba State.

The head of the prison service welcome the corps members and other Nysc bodies warmly with open arms. Speaking, he said, "I welcome everyone to this very moment and especially Corper Igwe Abigail who have come to this prison centre to present some items to the inmates. I appreciate your effects and also want to use this medium to advise other corps members to try their better and render the little help they could to take this nation high through community development service. These will will go a long way...

Speaking with legitblog reporter, Corper Igwe Abigail said, "I appreciate the NYSC for giving me this opportunity which open me up to community development service, and to my fellow corps members, I urge you to be part of this community development service in your little ways as these will be of helps to the people within and across the community.

Stressed further, she said, "Things are not really easy lately from the pandemic and the economic situation of the country; but nothing is as important as making people happy and excited by your contributions.

Dr. Pastor. Chukwudi Michael, the former H.O.D of the agronomy, Taraba State university who also served in jalingo, taraba state within 1997, and won a state award during his service through community development service, spoke on a topic titled: "Hope"

However, I will make my speech shorter than expected, I was thinking were are going to address the inmates, that was my original thought but since there are not here, we send the message through the you. So what I'm going to shear with us is the words of God. You have heard I have been pastoring for over thirty years now, that is since 1989.

Well, I have captioned, taking his passage of the Bible job 14:13-14, there are some things we can do and there is something that only God can do for us and what make the different is what God make it happened through us. There is HOPE!  No matter what has happened to you, there is hope. Whatsoever it is that is happening in the country, there is still hope because you're still alive. Until you dead, don't let anybody convince you that there is no hope. In Job 14:7-9 says, "Job 14:7-9  For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.

Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground;

Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant." No matter what happens to the tree since it's not been uprooted, there is still hope for it. The words "Uproot" to us is dead. You will be secured because there is hope.

Actually, hopelessness is what is causing problems in this world today, hopeless person can kill someone because him/her wants to die.

-What is HOPE?

- The meaning of HOPE

-Men of HOPE

There are some people who are seated here that believes there is no job in this country, I got an automatic job because of cds. Hope is the feeling of expectations. You're expecting something new, good and beautiful will happen in the future, indeed, there will be better tomorrow and see these people we are calling inmates today as better citizens if there will obey the law and the commandments of God.
