I destroy homes, tear families apart

I can take you and also take your children from you

But that is just a start

I am more costly than diamond

More costly than gold

The sorrow I bring is a sight to behold

If you need me, I am easily found

I live all around you and also live inside of you

I live with the rich, I live with the poor

ME: WHY WILL I TRY YOU

because you are ashamed, depressed, unloved, confused, stupid, and want to chill with the big boys.

But trust me, my power is awesome

Try me and you will see

But don't be fooled, if you do, you may never break free

Try me once and I might let you go

But try me twice and I will own your soul

When I possess you

You will do what you have to do just to get satisfied

Well I am an addiction and I am many

I can make you a smoker, masturbator, sex addict nymphomaniac, Narcissist, alcoholic, and even make you addicted to things that look casual like phone clothes and many more

But let me help you

If you choose me MR DRUGS as your addiction

The crimes you will commit for my narcotic chills will be worth the pleasure you will feel in your arms

You will lie to your mother

You will steal from your dad

When you see their tears you will not feel bad

You will forget your morals and how you were raised

I will be your conscience

I will teach you my ways

ME: WHY SHOULD I BE SCARED OF YOU

I take kids from parents and parents from kids

I turn people away from the things of God

I separate friends and family

I can take everything from you

Even your looks and your pride

I will be with you always right by your side

I will take and take till you are lost in the act

When I am done with you

You will be left with the gift of life filled with pain sorrow and unhappiness

So don't try me DON'T TRY ME BE WARNED

If "ADDICTION" is giving a chance

Creepily I smile as I act 

I will control your mind and your soul will be mine

You will regret that you tried me

BUT YOU CAME TO ME NOT I TO YOU.

Many times you were told but you challenge my power and choose to be bold

If you try me:

I will be your master you will be my slave

I will drive you to your grave

Leaving your loved ones ashamed

Now that you have known me will you still try me? 

I can bring more misery than words can tell
