It is pitiable and laughable for Gov Samuel Ortom to leave behind backlogged of salaries and Pensions arrears to backed the impeachment of president Muhammadu Buhari which is anchored by legislators.
There is an adage saying that, "You can't leave your burning house to quench another neighbour's house which is on fire"
Since assumption of office in 2015, Gov Samuel Ortom got funds in different nooks and crannies, Bailout funds, Paris clubs in different trenches yet there is no tangible developments in the state apart from his personal businesses which are drastically ballooning hourly.
Civil servant and Pensioners are in hexed and untold hardship because of their unpaid entitlements, with all these the Gov is not bothered.
The only achievement Ortom recorded which is visible and audible is, he tarnished the cordial relationship existed long ago between Benue State and the federal government, this has thrown us into infrastructural retrogression and many other beneficial things numerous to be mentioned because of the absence of federal government juicy projects.
What I expected from Gov Samuel Ortom is for him to humble himself with good manners and solicit for loan from federal government to enable him pay all the outstanding salaries and Pensions he owns our dear fathers who had served this state for good solid 35 years.
But by backing the impeachment of President Muhammadu Buhari many people within and outside the state might see his action and outings as incoherent or tend it as "Busy Body".
