THE BLACK KING

When they ask you,

Where I come from

Do not hide my name,

Or the title of my scares

Show them the sad stories,

Written on my bare skin

The weeping memories

Carved with Iron whips

And hungry blades

Do not fumble the truth,

Or embellish the lies

Tell them who I am,

The victim of stolen glory

When they ask you,

Who I am

Do not smile my face,

Or hide the rage,

That burns within my heart

Show them the beast,

They've made

And how ready I am

To shatter the shackles

 Of hate

Do not clothe in deceit,

But show them my núdes,

And how I undressed,

The robes of fear I wore

When they ask you,

What I am?

Do not fear their ugly faces,

And giant teeth

Say aloud my name

Let the pillars,

Of their authority quake

And tremble

Show them Wakanda,

Has risen,

With battalions of panther

Unmount their flags

And paint them black

Let them kiss the floor,

As I reclaim my throne

I am the black king
