Why must we grow, a question I keep asking myself?
Why must we leave the childhood stage?
Why can't every stage of human growth be like the childhood stage?
Childhood experiences are too sweet that shouldn't be left,
A stage where you got no worries,
Where no problem weighs you down,
A stage where you are always happy,
Having so many friends to play with, without betrayals,
Having many comforting arms to lean on,
Having no fear of being left by a friend,
Having so many companions around
A stage where your problem is only to eat,
Where you won't be exposed to the wicked world,
Where nearly all your wants are always made available
Where everything will be at ease for you,
Why must we grow?
I got an answer to the questions bothering me,
Even with the sweetness of being a child,
We need to move to the other stages of life,
No matter how big a sweet is,
It'll finish, if you don't lick it all
You'll surely chew it,
No matter how sweet a thing could be, it would only last for a while
Life would have been meaningless if we have no worries,
If we don't face the bitterness of life, life wouldn't be cherished,
If life was static, it would have been so boring,
Enjoy when it is time for enjoyment and face life when it is not sweet also.
