Hon. Godday Says, Oshigbudu - Atakpa - Ogbaulu Road On My Mind

So yesterday evening I drove along the road linking Oshigbudu to Ogbaulu via Atakpa community in Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State and I was amazed at what I saw.

I remember how this road was; almost not motorable during rainy season and very dusty at dry seasons till the year 2020 when the Honourable Member representing Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency in the person of Hon. Samuel Odagboyi Godday took up the courage to embark on the construction of this road.

Though done as an earth road (up to laterite level) due to paucity of funds, the project has indeed been of tremendous impact to the people of Atakpa community, the entire Ogbaulu, Odugbeho and of course, Okokolo wards as it remains the major access road for the people at the moment.

I recall some time ago, at its ongoing stage, some folks from the failed PDP attempted to make mockery of the Honourable Member's effort on this noble work, I advised them to wait until we are done, interestingly they never came back to tell us what the situation is now.

Like I have always emphasised, the days of buying beer for boys to gain unproductive leadership accolades in Apa/Agatu are gone, Hon. Godday represents impact not noise, productivity not propaganda, societal development not local village sentiments...

2023 general election is at the corner, our campaigns will be based on score cards, we will tell the people what Hon. Godday has done in 3yrs and what he will do more when he returns. The people will be allowed to compare and contrast because we know the difference is as clear as 7up.

Next is Iga-Ologbeche - Oba road in Apa Local Government Area
