In afflictions will I stand tall,
Standing strong to face it all.
Obstacles may be fierce and rage,
In hope will I break through all its chains;
It may not be easy and fair,
Its sound may even rumble like storms,
I won't be dismayed nor depressed,
'Cause I'm made for more In this world of war.
Pains may thrust my veins and smiles,
And fear may hold me tight as prey,
I will try facing it all as one,
whose life is more precious than a Gold.
My tears may seem too hot to hold,
I may even groan to find peace around,
I know all this won't last for long,
But pain isn't just easy to bear.
Falling and rising back again,
Striving so hard in the realm of time,
And running the race of life unstop,
Is what I face day by day;
But for what the future holds,
I will try to endure it all at once,
For this would worth the price someday,
And become a memory to unveil.
